Summarize Fanon’s argument about language and belonging (Ch. 1), the effect of the “white gaze” on the experience of the body of the black Antillean (Ch. 5), and the production of “race” and otherness in the encounter of black and white under colonial conditions and along the valence of the imaginary, anxiety and phobia (Ch. 6).
